NYACT is pleased to present to our members a highly informative and inspirational address by a national leader in security…and someone who knows the power of collaboration in fighting terrorism and crime…Mr. Roger Cressey.

Roger Cressey is a Partner with Liberty Group Ventures, LLC in Arlington VA, a risk and crisis management firm specializing in cyber security, campus security and sports security. He most recently served as a Senior Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting the firm’s cyber security practice in the Middle East. Prior to joining Booz Allen, he was President and Founder of Good Harbor Consulting LLC, a security and risk management consulting firm.

Mr. Cressey’s government service included senior cyber security and counterterrorism positions in the Clinton and Bush Administrations. At the White House, he served as Chief of Staff of the President’s Critical Infrastructure Protection Board from November 2001 – September 2002. He also served as Deputy for Counterterrorism on the National Security Council staff from November 1999 to November 2001. He was responsible for the coordination and implementation of US counterterrorism policy and managed the US Government response to multiple terrorism incidents, including the Millennium terror alert, the USS COLE attack, and the September 11th attacks.

Since 2004, he has served as an on-air counterterrorism analyst with NBC News, appearing frequently on NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, MSNBC and CNBC.

Now Accepting 2014 Nominations for Annual Awards & Honors!

NYACT Annual Awards – Call for Nominations
The New York Anti Car Theft & Fraud Association (NYACT) is now accepting nominations for its 2014 Annual Awards, which will be presented on November 19, 2014 at the NYACT Annual State Education Conference.

These awards were established to honor New York State’s top insurance/SIU and law enforcement professionals. The awards include:

For the Insurance Industry:
The Joseph McDonald Award
In recognition of ongoing leadership, contributions and loyal dedication to NYACT and to the prevention of automobile theft and insurance fraud in New York State. 

For Law Enforcement:
The John J. Kennedy Award 
In recognition of high level of integrity, dedication and expertise in the field of automobile theft and insurance fraud investigation, as well as for ongoing service and support of the mission and work of NYACT. 

For Both:
In addition, NYACT presents Meritorious Achievement Awards to qualified insurance and law enforcement professionals to honor outstanding efforts in combating vehicle crime and fraud.
